Fourth of July Collective Tarot Reading
I’ve been trying something new, so I wanted to share it with you all. As I’ve been doing a bunch of shadow work, I’ve been getting more in tune, or perhaps simply more comfortable, with my intuition. Using it. Trusting it. At the same time, I’ve been listening to tarot readings on YouTube. Brene Brown’s Call to Courage
Brene Brown has a special on Netflix about vulnerability. It’s about an hour, and if you want some inspiration about courage and vulnerability I highly recommend it. I was planning on jotting down my opinions and thoughts about the special, but honestly, I found so much of it inspirational. Manifesting – it’s simple but far from easy
Everyone says manifesting something is so easy! You just set your intention, let it go, and then wait for it to come to you. There are also those who will remind you to “expect the unexpected.” Easy peasy! Are you familiar with Masterclass? It’s basically a site with mini classes taught by well known people in an area of their expertise. There are courses in everything from food and cooking, to music and the arts, business, science, wellness and everything in between. Change is Never Easy, Resisting is Quite Common Though
Have you heard of the five stages of change? I am familiar with the five stages of grief. But while I was listening to my meditation app, it presented a mini lesson on the five stages of change. Briefly, the five stages of change are: Pre-contemplation: I’m not thinking about it, not seeing necessity.Contemplation: I might be thinking about it, but feeling unsure.Preparation: I’m interested, but not sure what to do/how to accomplish the change.Action: I’m actively working on making a change.Maintenance: I’m actively working on maintaining a change I’ve made. Fitness Update After 10,000 Steps Challenge
I realized that it’s been quite a while since I posted a fitness update. The reason being that the progress has been very slow. I’d been posting my measurements each week, and it looked like the numbers were barely moving, so I got kind of discouraged and stopped posting. But I didn’t stop exercising, I’m proud to say! Or at least walking. Walking has been the one thing I’ve been consistent with the past several months actually.
