Motivation – It Takes Baby Steps. And a Different Mindset
I’ve been rethinking this whole going for a walk thing. And I realize that my problem isn’t in the moving part, it’s the getting out the door part. And I’ve tried (sort of, not really) to get out. During the day is hard. And I have always liked the morning better. It’s just the getting up part. Marty is coming to stay with us for a week, and he does get me up and at ‘em early in the morning. Being Grounded Staying Grounded
Being grounded takes on a whole new meaning. It’s not just keeping centered and standing firm, but keeping yourself centered through playing in nature, running your hands through the dirt and letting it crumble through your fingers. Through listening to the waves of the ocean. Through walking barefoot in the grass and letting the individual blades tickle your toes.
